Before becoming one of a top San Antonio shooter…..

Stephanie Ruiz started as unknown guard at Taft High School with potential but no real stand out qualities.

Through her relentless work ethic and training with Spartan Basketball while playing for Taft and the San Antonio Legends…

She worked her way to an athletic scholarship from Adams St. University.

Her freshman year was very successful while averaging 16 points per game and exhibiting her limitless range on the court.

Even with all of this success Steph hasn’t let go of her relentless work ethic.

This summer she was in the gym 6 times a week with Tim Springer of Spartan Basketball.

They spent tons of time working on more and more range….as well as finishing around the basket.

Check out the video from one of their many workouts of the summer.
